We’re Chelsea and David, the artists and owners behind Leave A Mark®️.

In the photo, you’ll see David in uniform, he’s a U.S. Navy Senior Chief. And Chelsea? She’s not “just the spouse”, she’s a veteran herself. Service, craftsmanship, and pride in doing things the right way are at the core of everything we create.

Leave A Mark®️ began as a dream we planned to launch when David retired from the Navy. That timeline changed in 2022 while David was deployed. During that time, Chelsea channeled her creativity, taught herself to master the laser and tools, and began bringing her artistic vision to life; creating the detailed bathymetric maps and custom artwork people kept asking for. What started as a plan quickly became a passion, and that passion grew into a business.

So where did the name Leave A Mark come from? Like many great stories, it started as a joke. After David accidentally cut the tip of his finger off, Chelsea's Dad said, “Well… that’s going to leave a mark.” The phrase stuck. Because when you give a handmade, custom piece something created just for someone you do leave a mark. You create a memory. Whether it’s a bathymetric map, a piece of wall art, or a laser-engraved gift, each piece tells a story.

Our goal is simple: to create beautiful, meaningful, and personalized artwork that speaks to the heart. Every piece is handcrafted with intention and care, designed to be more than décor, but a lasting reminder of a place, a moment, or a connection. We’re always pushing creative boundaries, constantly learning, and expanding what we can offer, because we don’t believe in staying inside the box.
